I am a cheddar cheese ball sometimes. Why Cheddar? Because it sounds better than Provolone Cheese Ball and I don't like Guda or Peperjack.
I love my friends but when they come to me for advice especially when i'm tired, the things i saw are kind of hilarious. I find myself often stating the obvious. She found it funny at least, but how often do we really help people when they ask for advice? I know a ton of people who have seriously helped me with their advice. I was going to say I don't think we always help but then I actually thought about what I was saying before I said it.
That makes me think of this annoying habit I have. My mom pointed it out to me a few days ago. Actually i think it was the day before I started this blog. Apparently every time I can't choose between two things, for example nail polish, I pick a person and ask them to pick. I'm kind of embarrassed to admit how true this is but ninety nine percent of the time i choose the exact opposite of what they pick. My mom gets frustrated at me for that. But, wait. I can explain why. I'm not trying to be rude people. I'm sure if you know me I've done this to you to at some point, so please don't be angry with me. My logic works this way...I have two choices and I'm leaning on the fence. I pick based on my reaction to the choice you make. IT IS NOT me not liking you or your choice, it's just me realizing what I wanted more. So, no offense...
Alright, so it's Hump Day, and I can' t believe just wrote those words. Valentine's Day is this weekend. Raise your hand if your single, like me and going to hibernate for the day. I am at least until my movie going buddy get's done work. THANKS MOM! It's great that I always have someone to see a movie with. So to all of you out there, thank your mom for being awesome. Mine rocks!
Of course now, in the spirit of movie love, I've got "Everything Is Awesome!" from the Lego movie commercial stuck in my head on repeat. FAN-tastic.Womp Womp Waaaa. Just kidding....I do love a romance movie, they are my guilty pleasures. What are yours? Valentine's Day this year has two coming out that I really want to see.
1. Winter's Tale. If you check out the New Page I've added to my wonderful Blog, BOOKGASM, you can see the first entry of my book recommendations is Winter's Tale. Not to be confused with Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale. This one is by Mark Helprin. Anyway, the movie comes out on Valentine's day...I am redundant aren't I?....The movie looks just as beautiful as the book. And Bonus points it stars Colin Ferrel (sp?). I probably butchered that spelling...I'm going to pause now and look it up like a proper blogger. And....insert drum roll here.... I was right, I spelled his last name wrong it's Farrell. The Dude from S.W.A.T. Whatever, I'll attach some photos below of him and the movie's mobile imdb.com page.
2. Endless Love. This one has Alex Pettyfer in it. Go Me, Google that name too and I spelled it right. I feel awesome....EVERYTHING IS AWESOME....that will get old fast. The reason I want to see this movie is that the trailer for it totally throws off my expectations for what to expect. You see, I went to college and came out with a film minor on my degree. So I've had it drilled into my head that music can set a scene and convince the audience to feel something specific. Well, Endless Love, as a title is pretty straight forward, but the song they played during the first trailer totally made me believe this was going to turn out to be some twisted horror movie. I was expected Pettyfer to turn out to be this stalker guy or something, Like Fear. Now, Fear was a movie Mark Wahlberg did in 1996 with Reese Witherspoon. It hooks you with the love story than wham, dude goes psycho. That's what this trailer had me believing was going to happen, that or the dad would go crazy and try to kill the guy his daughter is dating. I don't know. So I need to see the movie and discover what really is going to happen, my curiosity has been engaged to the fullest. I NEED TO KNOW.
Movies are like my life. Can't get enough of them. The last movie I saw was actually Vampire Academy. I was so nervous about it I was freaking out before hand. I loved reading Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead. The books are very near and dear to my heart so I worried because the trailers on tv were kind of corny. Yet, thank God they did a fantastic job.
I am now in Love with Danila Kozlovsky, the guy who played Dimitri in that movie. He's so hot.
Anyways.....Update on my new found obsession with Geek & Sundry....I was only watching The Flog and Co-optitude. (my spelling skills suck). But now, I've started watching old Spellslinger and Table Top Videos. I'm am obsessed with them, and I'm also realizing that I am a bigger geek than I previously thought I was. I'm quite proud off that fact. What's the point of life if you pretend you don't enjoy the things you do. I am a fan of board games. I'd rather play them, or watch movies, or read then be at a bar. It's true. If I was brave enough to actually go in front of a camera I'd love to do a Vlog on Geek & Sundry or something. I love this channel. How much of a geek are you guys and gals? ...Seriously though, I'd love some feedback from you!
I know this post isn't nearly as long as the other ones but I promise the next one will be a bit longer.
